Ugh...
So the latest Mac OS build, Catalina (10.15.1 is absolute latest release), is not allowing me to play Yomi. According to Steam, it's a 32-bit game that can't be run on my 64-bit system, even though it has managed to run a few times already without issue.
I need a solution.
If you tell me to go buy a Windows computer... no. I refuse. That's because I already have two of them. The laptop is on the ancient side, as it was slow three years ago when I was going to use it for a job. It needs to be updated, hardware and software both. So, it is a possibility, but I would like to play on my main computer.
Sirlin's Facebook page hasn't been updated in a while... Do you think anyone would dust off the cobwebs if I posted the need for a Mac update? Otherwise, there isn't a support link on the website, like most software companies would have. I mean, I could contact for info, but I need technical support that doesn't include running a Windows emulator.
...yeah, I really just want to be able to go to Sirlin and get this patched, but since it doesn't look like his internet presence is kept up to date, I'm worried that his games won't be kept up to date. I suppose this is something I'm finding out the hard way by being late to the party.

He's very active on his discord, and all the developers are working on Fantasy Strike.
I don't know anything about macs so I can't offer any solutions there.

Yeah, this seems to be some sort of bizarre issue with Steam! Both Yomi and Puzzle Strike work perfectly fine under Catalina for me. My guess is that Steam is seeing something or other that suggests that the games are 32-bit binaries (even though they're 64-bit) and inaccurately puts up that warning. I do wonder if maybe there's some sort of backend switch they can flip to tell Steam, hey, actually, everything is hunky dory.
