That is how anti-air works, kudos Two things though: - You can't attack the Huntress while the Water Elemental is in squad lead. Squad leaders have taunt, so they protect the other patrollers and you have to attack them first. - You can't summon Onimaru until your Tech II building is finished, which will be your next turn. The hero limit starts at 1, then once Tech II is complete it increases to 2, and then once Tech III is complete it's 3.

Eyes of the Chancellor doesn't give your other stuff haste it just has haste itself, meaning you can use its exhaust ability the turn you play it (which you did).

No tricks? darn. So in that case: Exhaust Blooming Elm -> put three +1/+1 runes on Guargum Guargum attacks. Your patrol zone is Obliterated, so he hits your base for 15. GG, and thanks for the game. I was really worried about that Dreamscape, caught me off guard for sure! I think if it had stayed up another turn I would have been in serious trouble.

@lettucemode Yeah, I wish I had a trick or two! I was mostly on the backfoot for the majority of the game. I suspect I built my tech building too late across the board, especially Tech 3. I kept operating under the assumption that you needed the requisite number of workers at the beginning of the turn. Actually, that might still be true. I'm not 100% clear on that but based on what I'm reading in the rulebook I think you'd be fine to build your Tech 1 building on the turn that you made your 6th worker, for instance. Outside of that, I think my tech choices were not quite unified, strategically. Time to make some adjustments! Good game! I did better than I thought I would, honestly. I normally expect to suck at these games and just get bodied forever so this was a nice change of pace. Would you like to play again?
