This place is kinda fugly. I know it just started but I just wanted to address these things: is it even possible on this site to update the look of the forum?
I also just realized something and I'm super sad. We no longer have access to Yomi character emoticons!!11

Proboards has support for CSS editing and, awesomely enough, editing of the HTML templates. I probably can't do anything completely insane (it is still their forum software, after all) but with time we should be able to get something cool going. As for the Yomi character emoticons: GETTING ON IT.

Honestly, looks better than Discourse imo. I'd rather post on ugly Proboards Blue than the new official forums, if we're judging purely from aesthetics. Personal taste is a mother.

It wasn't blue when I made that post scym. It was stark white.

That's hilarious, and unfortunate, but mostly hilarious.

Hey is it possible to make the links for threads/subforums take up the whole "box" thing? Like, when you're left-clicking a thread, you can click anywhere. But when I middle-click to open in new tab, it just gives me the scroll thing. I have to middle-click directly on the text to get it to open in a new tab.

Also while blue is far better than white, can we have a darker colour? It's so bright it still hurts my eyes.
Also also for some reason the read/unread thing is pretty terrible. If you so much as look at a subforum (without reading any posts) it still marks it as read. That's pretty bad imo.

I won't promise anything, but I will look into this. Proboards has a pretty good amount of plugins - this may exist somewhere. Otherwise, long-term I may be able to fix it myself. Also while blue is far better than white, can we have a darker colour? It's so bright it still hurts my eyes. Also also for some reason the read/unread thing is pretty terrible. If you so much as look at a subforum (without reading any posts) it still marks it as read. That's pretty bad imo. Darker than this? I mean, sure probably? I really need to start figuring out a proper color scheme... And yes, that does sound bad. I didn't know it did that! Hopefully I'll be able to find a fix. Sorry for inconvenience in the meantime.

In no particular order: - Spoiler tags should be more obvious/distinct from links
- I want my "new posts" button back
- lol what are those codes to insert character emoji

In the same order: I'll see what I can do. I'm using the standard spoiler tag code atm, maybe I can find an alternative. New posts... uuuh. That might exist. I'll get back to you on it. And screw off they're hosted on IMGUR. I'll find a better hosting space soon enough and then they will have actual codes that make sense lol. (the emoticon plugin I use, while popular, leaves some things to be desired...)

Oh yeah can we get auto-scrolldown to unread posts? I love that feature.

I just wanted to say that the way spoiler tags currently look could be a problem for codex play by post. Look at this: mssanctuary.boards.net/thread/26/fodazd-enomusEDIT: ...Also "fodazd ([Growth]/Demonology/Ninjutsu) vs. enomus ([Finesse]/Peace/Truth)" was too long for a thread title. This is also less than optimal in my opinion.

I like the MTGS aesthetic. If we could do something like that, that would be smart I think.

- We'll look into it. No promises.
- What's "new posts"?
- What are character emoji? The Midor/FS characters ones?

On FS.com, I can go to www.fantasystrike.com/forums/index.php?find-new/12162078/posts and see all the new/unread posts (in un-ignored places) that I've not read yet. I can just click on that, read a thread, then repeat until I'm up to date. And yes, the FS characters. is colon colon RANDOM NUMBERS AND LETTERS colon colon, not colon lum colon.

Is there a way to dispaly more than ten posts per page?
Also, I don't get how to use the FS icons :S

Oh the second thing: I'm working on it! Sorry, I got caught up having to do game mastering today or I would've finished it already. This won't be a problem much longer if I can get my plan to work!

Should I set it higher globally? Do you think your suggestion should affect everyone else so dramatically?

Alright Kratos, you're doing really good so far
Now, can we get auto-scroll to unread posts when we open a thread?

Alright Kratos, you're doing really good so far Now, can we get auto-scroll to unread posts when we open a thread? You already have that. Click the "New" text next to a thread title. I guess I could make that bigger and say, like, [Last Unread] or something, if you like.

I thought it was just saying "hey this thread has new posts check it out!!"

Is that possible?
