I wanted to make a thread, and since I like being happy, I decided to make a happy thread. The rules are simple: Post something that makes you happy. Something small, something big, something personal or something everyone can enjoy. Something about the world, a story or a picture, or anything else you can think that warms that cold, dead heart of yours. I'll start with a couple: Springtime nature on a sunny day. Favorite time of year to go biking in the forests around where I live. The "Across the Universe" rendition of All You Need is Love. unf. My wife's smile. The realization that I'm not feeling anxiety. Sometimes happiness sneaks up on you. Entering an airport the first time on a trip. ... the transfers and delays, usually less so. -_- So, share your joys in life. Have a happy thread.

I enjoy winter. It's by far my favorite season.
Kraetyz or others may look down on me with scorn from the cold/dark north known as canada/sweden, saying "ah, but his southern winters are warm yet". I counter that I live in Idaho/Minnesota, which are cold places, and am nocturnal during the winter, so I get the cold and dark just like you.
Maybe the best feeling is when the sky is cloudy and the light is ambient, you can't see the sun though. You wake to find that your face, above the covers, is already cold. You can listen to music, play games, watch a show, put on clothes... it's a very carefree time.

I really enjoy winter nights when there is snow on the ground and mostly cloudy but the moon is full and peeks out from the clouds often enough to light everything up. Camping in such conditions is just so peaceful.

We are very different people. I counter all this winter talk with: Opening the door in spring and having an actually warm breeze hit you. The slight chills from early spring days is nice too, but that first time you walk outside and feel warmth from the wind and sun... it's very hard not to feel amazing at that.

Relaxing by the water. River or stream or lake or ocean, doesn't matter much which.

I like reading on the dock near my apartment. Also, drinking wine on my balcony with my neighbor.

These forums make me happy, that they exist. I was surprised at the amount of loss I felt when I finally clicked back over to the Fantasy Strike tab that I had been ignoring for two months while I was trying to be productive. I'm sure the new forums will be very good given time but I feel like the General Chit Chat and the Now Playing won't ever have the same vibe. So it makes me happy that everyone else felt like it was important enough to try and keep this community going, it's pretty much the main place I hang out on the Internet.

Watching mediocre action movies on Netflix with my favorite girls. That's a good one.

Last night I went out swing dancing and got somewhat drunk and then ate burgers with a friend and it was a good time.
In general: swing dancing is lit

Using your own obsessive tendencies to "encourage" other people to love a game as much as you do so that you have enough of a player base to justify having purchased it in the first place.
Also, Indian food.

My roommate. She hogs the center of the bed sometimes but, like, how can I say no to that face?

Whenever I'm feeling down, I look at this goat and realize that we are the same, he and I.
