{Secret Musings}I have the options to kill Glaxx and either go for Tech II of my own or break his. Since I haven't cycled yet I can't rely on drawing into my Tech IIs so I think I need to continue aggro and hope I can keep overpowering him. That leaves me with 2g and a decision on how to spend it.
The three obvious lines are HH, max Orpal or big float. Max Orpal guarantees he lives but leaves me wondering how to Tech given the likelihood of Free Speech and my lack of gold for D&D. HH lets me tech Discord/Two Step but again the high chance of Free Speech makes more spells less good. Floating would guarantee I could go Tech II + aggro next turn so I could sneak in 2xMaestro now, and it tempts him to leave a weak board in order to deal with Orpal.
I think overall I dislike having to spend 2g extra on a new hero if he kills Orpal. On the HH side that is probably too much gold commitment so that is out. Floating and Teching Maestro kind of just feels bad when I could have chunky Orpal to block or attack next turn and if he goes for the kill I have to send the 2g anyway.
I think I've probably talked myself into Max Orpal + tech Owls since it (1) improves my gold and thins my deck (2) lets me block Nullcraft and Rocs and (3) gives me cheap units to sac for Orpal midband. Then I can play for Maestro + D&D as my Tech II plan. flagrantangles's turn!
