{Thoughts} So I was wrong on both counts, and I'm able to kill his hound for 1 gold while only spending one card from hand to maximise my chances of drawing and playing Tech II next turn.
Kind of expecting Free Speech, though making everything an illusion and then popping my good units is probably worse for me right now.

GG! I think my early game was a bit slow to put pressure on you and there was a point I felt like I could easily have lost tempo with a bit more aggression from your side. I teched fairie dragon for the flyer effect but also so I could potentially pop illusions even if free speech went up. Not sure if that's necessarily a good plan vs truth, but it worked out this time at least. Happy to play another game if you want?

{Thoughts}I didn't manage the 80% chance to draw a 2 cost unit (preferably one of my teched cards) so I'm now rather worried.
If he teched Tiny Basilisk and Bloodlust he has the necessary 6 gold to kill Midori whether or not I killed his prospector. But if he teched anything else there I think there is a chance I don't lose Midori as he doesn't have enough gold to midband Drakk and bloodlust his way through, or has to take a hit to hand size despite the draw.
Either way I think he'll go for Midori rather than Tech I because of the +1/+1 rune. Lets see what happens.

{Thoughts}I had two options here: 1) Maxband midori and kill his Tech 1 2) Midband Midori and then build a board to protect him
I decided on option 2 because I felt almost certain maxband Midori would be slain next turn (he would have had 11 gold to throw at killing him) and then that 11 gold hero would have simply delayed Tech I. Messing up (or threatening to mess up) Tech II is much more interesting. Plus my board now looks formidable.
Will be interesting to look back at this turn and theorise!

{Thoughts}Hard choices again. My hand size was not going to recover if I workered *and* played a card so I picked one of the above. I *could* have played my Tiger Cub and then built Tech II but I couldn't pass up the chance to cheat in some better tech now, while blowing his building up. Heroes' Hall lets me get more stuff on board for no cards. We'll see soon enough if this was a good plan. My main worry is that I've only seen 2 teched cards (Bloodlust and Spectral Hound) so I'm not sure what else is in there. Hopefully some now useless Tech IIs I am quite worried about kidnapping, hence my choice of Potent Basilisk and no other units. Lets see how he responds to that. He needs to kill Midori really fast though, before I eke out a big advantage with him.

{Thoughts}Maxband Drakk was clearly a ridiculous menace, and since killing Verdant Tree only prevents Tech III next turn I felt he had to go instead. I now have to hope his Tech II isn't too scary, or he hasn't teched in Tech III pre-emptively *gulp*
